Founded in 2013 by technology veterans Michel Feaster and Przemek Pardyak, Usermind was created to drive faster business growth and innovation in the enterprise. Headquartered in Seattle, WA, Usermind is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Menlo Ventures, and CRV.
A seasoned product strategist and enterprise software executive, Michel Feaster is the former Founder & CEO of Usermind. Under her leadership, Usermind evolved from a VC funded startup to the clear leader in the Journey Orchestration category and was acquired by Qualtrics in 2021. She is a board member at Mezmo, a leader in data pipeline observability. Michel’s enterprise software career spans almost 20 years with roles in sales, products, strategic marketing and general management at Apptio, HP Software, Mercury Interactive and Compuware - from 0-300K employees and from 0-$5B revenue.
Core to Michel’s success is her customer-first mindset and ability to deeply understand customer and market needs. Michel has pioneered multiple new software products and categories including Customer Journey Orchestration (Usermind), Technology Business Management (Apptio) and Service Automation (HP Software/Opsware). She has driven growth by innovating over 5 net new products/product lines and has extensive M&A experience including leading the acquisition of Opsware by HP Software for $1.6B. Michel has developed a deep understanding of how to achieve product-GTM fit and revenue growth through intense focus on compete, sales and technical enablement and thought leadership. She delivers world-class execution by building focused and empowered teams of motivated high performers. She believes people are the beating heart of all great software companies and hires and manages to that priority.
