Merit’s Software with a Service (SwaS) transforms large-scale government programs. The inspiration for Merit came during a trip when cofounders Tomer Kagan (CEO) and Jacob Orrin (COO) learned that without a PADI card in hand, you can't scuba dive. Packing paper permits instead of being able to digitally access and share earned credentials felt backward in today's tech-driven world. With this simple idea, Merit was born. The two set out to make everyone's records digitally available. What started in the sporting industry has now led to government agencies issuing important credentials their citizens can easily use from the palms of their hands.
